Second Step is a learning program that focuses on developing student's social-emotional skills. Elementary students at WHA have Second Step lessons taught in the classroom throughout the year by their teacher and the school social worker. Second Step helps children learn how to make friends, manage their emotions, solve problems and deal with peer pressure.
